Vacancy - Receptionist (part time, 23.75-28.5 hours per week)
£12/hour
Start date - 25th November 2024
Thanks to continued success and growth, our independent cat-only vet practice is now looking to add a part-time receptionist to our friendly team.
We are looking for someone to work the following shifts:
Mondays - 9.30am-7.30pm
Tuesdays - 2.45pm-7.30pm
Thursdays - 8.30am-6.30pm
Fridays - 8.30am-1.15pm (optional)
For an exceptional candidate who wants full time hours we may consider making this a full time position by adding in a 8.30am-6.30pm shift on Wednesdays.
Duties
Front of house - managing the diary, taking payments, taking telephone calls, answering emails and social media messages
Maintaining the organisation and cleanliness of the reception, consulting rooms and staff room
Dispensing medications and re-ordering pharmacy stock
Monitoring & collating client feedback
Administration of the healthy cat plan
Helping with the practice social media accounts

Essential criteria for applicants
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Great attitude and personable nature
A love of cats and desire to provide outstanding customer care to their owners
Desirable criteria for applicants
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a veterinary practice but we will consider candidates without this experience if they have excellent customer service skills and "cattitude".
The ability to do ad-hoc additional cover for holidays etc is desirable but not essential.
